1. What is K-pop Club's mission? K-pop club allows students who enjoy K-pop to come together and discuss current topics or trends within that world. We lead a safe and community where these students are welcome to discuss news topics, performances, comebacks, etc. Furthermore, we want to implement one of Shasta's core values of curiosity by considering how our "American" perspective (i.e. stereotypes and constructs) affect our view of K-pop. In all, we want everyone to have an amazing and enjoyable experience in this club.
2. What does a day in K-pop Club look like? In K-pop club, we intend to have friendly conversations about the K-pop world as a whole, whether it be to laugh at memes, or discuss serious news topics that come up during discussions. We also want to teach dances to each other which we can perform at future fundraisers or events.
3. What fundraisers does our club hope to plan this year? During this club, we hope to prepare performances of K-pop dances in order to raise money for school. This would be in the form of cover dances or even "random play" dance games.
